SPCG advised Vafo Group on the acquisition of AZAN

SPCG advised VAFO Group, one of Europe’s leading producers of super-premium pet food, on the acquisition of AZAN, its long-standing partner and one of Poland’s largest distributors of pet products. The transaction is a natural continuation of nearly thirty years of cooperation between the parties and is part of VAFO Group’s strategy to strengthen its position in key markets in Central and Eastern Europe.

This is another transaction involving the SPCG transaction team in the rapidly growing pet food market in Poland.

SPCG’s support included developing the transaction structure, providing comprehensive transaction advisory services, including representation in proceedings before the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK), as well as conducting legal and tax due diligence.
